A Legislation

A-2146 which revises regulation of landscape architects is attached for Board information.

9/17/08 Governor Corzine signed this legislation on September 8, 2008.

B Correspondence

1 Copy of a letter dated June 13, 2008 from Shawn Heslin who has a BS in Environmental Planning & Design with the Industry Option from Rutgers and requests whether this meets the requirement for certification is attached for the Committee’s review. On June 18, 2008, Mr. Picatagi motioned to send a letter advising that in accordance with N.J.A.C. 13:27-8.4b provide the Committee with his certified transcript and a true and accurate course description for each of the landscape architecture courses for which the candidate is seeking credit toward certification. Also write to Jean Marie Hartman, Head of the Landscape Architecture Department at Rutgers University and request the curriculum for the BS in Environmental & Planning as well as the other options offered with the degree. Mr. Sardonia seconded the motion. It passed unanimously.

Copy of Mr. Heslin’s June 13, 2008 letter and the Board’s letter to Ms. Hartman are also attached for the Committee’s information.

F Legislation

A-789 - An act concerning the expiration date of certain professional and occupational licenses and registrations for certain members of the Armed Forces of the United States, amending P.L. 1968, c.362 and supplementing P.L. 1978, c.73 (C.45:1-14et.seq.) is attached for Board information. 9/16/08 Governor Corzine signed this legislation on August 12, 2008.
