Proposed Regulation – Board of Polysomnography

NEWARK – The Board of Polysomnography has proposed new rules regarding licensed polysomnographic technologists, technicians, and trainees using telecommunications to provide health care services.

The proposal effectuates P.L. 2017, c. 117, which authorizes health care providers to use telemedicine or telehealth to provide health care services.  The proposed new rules effectuate the statute and set forth standards for the use of telemedicine or telehealth to protect the health, safety, and welfare of patients.

The proposed regulation, and information on how to submit a comment by March 19, 2022, can be viewed here.
