Proposed Regulation – Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission
NEWARK – The Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission has proposed amendments to regulations regarding special door prize raffles. P.L. 2015, c. 80 revised standards for door prize raffles by deleting a requirement that merchandise awarded as a prize be donated and by deleting a prohibition on any other game of chance being conducted in conjunction with a door prize raffle. P.L. 2015, c. 80 also raised the limit on the value of merchandise awarded as a prize from $50.00 to $200.00. The proposal would effectuate P.L. 2015, c. 80. The proposed amendments, and information on how to submit a comment by February 4, 2022, can be viewed
