Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

The Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (Compact) is a voluntary, expedited pathway to licensure for qualifying physicians who wish to practice in multiple states. For more information on the Compact, FAQs, informational videos, and how to qualify for licensing through this pathway, please visit the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission (IMLCC) website at https://www.imlcc.org/apply/. The IMLCC is currently accepting applications for New Jersey Compact licensing.

The New Jersey BME stresses to those who are interested in becoming New Jersey licensed via the Compact, or currently licensed New Jersey physicians wishing to be licensed in another Compact state, to please review ALL Compact criteria to ensure qualifications can be met for licensing through this pathway prior to applying: https://www.imlcc.org/information-for-physicians/#DoIQualifyForCompactLicensure. For questions related to IMLCC licensing, please contact the IMLCC at:  inquiry@imlcc.net or via phone at (303) 997-9842.
