New Jersey Drug Control Unit

The New Jersey Prescription Blanks Program (NJPB Program) implements and enforces the provisions of the Uniform Prescription Blanks Act. The NJPB Program regulates all approved printer vendors authorized to manufacture and distribute New Jersey Prescription Blanks to licensed healthcare practitioners and healthcare facilities that are authorized to write prescriptions for controlled dangerous substances, legend drugs or other items.

The Drug Control Unit within the Department of Law and Public Safety, is responsible for the administration of the NJPB Program.

  Prescribers may place an order for New Jersey Prescription Blanks either with an approved Printer Vendor or an approved Sales Representative who works with an approved Printer Vendor.
