Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission

Amusement Games


Amusement games are exclusively held and operated at recognized amusement parks, seashore or other resorts constituting amusement or entertainment areas, agricultural fairs and exhibitions, and qualified bowling alleys.

  1. Recognized Amusement Park

    A commercially operated permanent business, open to the public at least 31 consecutive days annually, designed and themed for the primary purpose of providing participatory amusements incorporating skill-based attractions, rides or water slides, or electronic amusements, and food and merchandise concessions in permanent structures.

  2. Shore Resort or Resort Area Constituting an Amusement or Entertainment Area

    A place providing recreation and entertainment especially to visitors, which is bordered by tidal waters.

  3. Agricultural Fairs and 4-H Clubs or (Exhibitions)

    An association organized for the purpose of holding agricultural fairs and exhibitions which is approved by the State Department of Agriculture to holds an agricultural fair and exhibition.

  4. Bowling Alley

    A bowling alley whose premises include at least 16 United States Bowling Congress sanctioned bowling lanes, at least 40 amusement games (provided not more than 50% of the amusement games are crane or claw games) and a redemption center where players can obtain prizes.
