Please Note:

Additionally, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 45:15BB-11.1, all individuals licensed or certified by this Board must complete at least one credit of continuing education in topics concerning prescription opioid drugs. This requirement must be met beginning with the 2018-2020 licensing cycle and will continue for all subsequent licensing cycles.

Organizations that offer continuing education in New Jersey must have each course approved in advance by a formally recognized entity, such as the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB).  ASWB is an authorized continuing education approval entity of the New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners.
