Proposed Regulation – Prescription Monitoring Program​

NEWARK – The Division of Consumer Affairs (Division) is proposing to amend the Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) rules at N.J.A.C. 13:45A to expand access to the electronic database to include licensed mental health practitioners (State licensed clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, clinical alcohol and drug counselors, professional counselors, psychologists, or psychoanalysts) who provide treatment for substance abuse to patients at a residential or outpatient substance abuse treatment center licensed by the Department of Healt​h.
