Proposed Regulation – Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Committee

NEWARK – The Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Committee has proposed amendments to rules regarding continuing education requirements for audiologists and speech-language pathologists.

The proposed amendments prohibit continuing education certificates which document the continuing education courses a licensed audiologist or speech-language pathologist has completed, from being hand-written. The proposed amendments also require that certificates indicate when a continuing education course was presented at a licensee's place of employment.

The proposed amendments, and information on how to submit a comment by August 16, 2019, can be viewed here.
