"Notice of the previously scheduled February 19, 2025 meeting of the State Board of Dentistry requires revision pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act. The meeting will proceed on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 9 AM, but will not be held at 124 Halsey Street, Newark New Jersey. Instead, the meeting will be conducted electronically only, as authorized by P.L. 2020, c.11 (N.J.S.A. 10:4-9.3). A copy of the agenda of the meeting, to the extent presently known, is included herewith. Formal action may be taken at the meeting. The public may obtain information about how to access the meeting (to include a link to the meeting) by accessing the Board's website at: https://www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/den/Pages/meetings.aspx The meeting link is also available on the meeting agenda which is posted on the "Meetings" section of the board's website.
Public comments will be accepted in writing. Any public comments should be submitted by 5 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, by emailing: magrathj@dca.njoag.gov. The email should contain the name of the submitter. The Board will make its best effort to read any comments received into the record during the meeting.
Alert SCAM ALERTThe Division of Consumer Affairs (Division) is warning all licensed professionals about individuals impersonating New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs (DCA) investigators, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents, DEA investigators, New Jersey Drug Control Unit investigators, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) investigators, and other law enforcement personnel, as part of an extortion scheme.
The impersonators are contacting licensees by telephone or letter, stating that they are the subject of an investigation. The callers are demanding money to clear up the matter, or threatening to revoke the individual’s license. Please be advised that the Division of Consumer Affairs will not contact licensees by telephone to discuss investigations or demand money.
Anyone receiving a telephone call from a person purporting to be any of the above mentioned individuals seeking money, should refuse the demand. We encourage you to report the call to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at
ReportFraud.ftc.gov. You may also report the call to the Division at
AskConsumerAffairs@lps.state.nj.us.
