Proposed Regulation – Board of Pharmacy

NEWARK – The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs has proposed a new rule and amendments to establish standards for the control and monitoring of temperature of stored prescription drugs and chemicals to ensure their integrity, stability, and efficacy.

The proposed new rule and amendments define a temperature excursion and specify actions that must be taken in the event of a temperature excursion. The proposed regulation, and information on how to submit a comment by June 3, 2016, can be viewed here.
