Proposed Regulation – Cemetery Board
NEWARK – The Cemetery Board has reproposed new regulations regarding crematories. P.L. 2011, c. 230 requires that crematories be located on dedicated cemetery property and authorizes the Cemetery Board to draft regulations governing the operation of crematories. The reproposal effectuates P.L. 2011, c. 230. The reproposal also sets forth application requirements for entities that seek Board approval to construct a crematory.
