Proposed Regulation – Board of Respiratory Care

NEWARK – The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs is proposing amendments to the rules regarding the practice, licensing, and educational requirements of respiratory care practitioners.

The proposal repeals and adds new rules to implement P.L. 2013, c.182, which became effective on July 1, 2014, and which modifies the reinstatement and reactivation requirements for professional or occupational licensees. The Board is also proposing amendments to correct terminology, update rules, and codify current standards of practice and licensure requirements.

The proposed regulation, and information on how to submit a comment by September 3, 2016 can be viewed at: http://www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/Proposals/Pages/07052016-Respiratory-Proposal.aspx
