Proposed Regulation – Board of Nursing

NEWARK – The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs has proposed amendments to certification requirements for advanced practice nurses.

The proposal recognizes the Institute for Credentialing Excellence as an entity that accredits national nursing certification entities. Such certification entities provide the examinations applicants must successfully pass in order to obtain certification as advanced practice nurses in New Jersey.

The proposed regulation, and information on how to submit a comment by September 16, 2016, can be viewed here.
