Proposed Regulation – Board of Psychological Examiners

NEWARK – The Board of Psychological Examiners has proposed amendments to regulations governing the evaluation of degrees completed in other countries.

Existing regulations require applicants for licensure who completed an education outside of the United States to submit an evaluation of their degrees from credential evaluation services. The proposed amendments recognize the National Register of Health Service Psychologists as an entity that may perform such evaluations.

The proposed regulation, and information on how to submit a comment by October 18, 2019, can be viewed on the Division of Consumer Affairs’ website here.
