Board of Nursing Public Hearing Is Rescheduled

NEWARK – The State Board of Nursing has rescheduled a public hearing originally set for September 23 to the new date of September 30. The hearing, on proposed amendments to the rules which regulate the delegation of nursing tasks and the certification and practice of homemaker-home health aides, will be held beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Monmouth Room at the Division of Consumer Affairs, 124 Halsey Street, Newark, N.J. 07101. Requests to speak should be submitted in writing to Joanne Leone, Acting Executive Director, Board of Nursing, P.O. Box 45010, Newark, N.J. 07101 no later than one week prior to the public hearing.

The public comment period on the proposed amendments has been extended to September 30 and comments may be submitted to the Board of Nursing at the address listed above or electronically at www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/Proposals/Pages/default.aspx.
