Proposed Regulation – Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Committee

NEWARK – The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs has proposed amendments to regulations regarding clinical internships for audiologist and speech-language pathologists.

The proposal would clarify that an individual completing a clinical internship in audiology or speech-language pathology must hold a temporary license issued by the Committee.  The proposal also clarifies that clinical internships must be at least 1200 hours and be completed within nine to 18 months.

The proposed amendments, and information on how to submit a comment by November 17, 2017, can be viewed here.
