Proposed Regulation – Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm and Locksmith Advisory Committee
NEWARK – The Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors, in consultation with the Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm and Locksmith Advisory Committee, is proposing to readopt, with new rules and amendments, its rules concerning the provision of fire alarm, burglar alarm, and locksmith services. The proposal repeals and adds new rules to implement P.L. 2013, c.182, which became effective on July 1, 2014, and which modifies the reinstatement and reactivation requirements for professional or occupational licensees. The Board is also proposing amendments to update rules and codify current standards of practice and licensure requirements. The proposed re-adoption of the regulations, and information on how to submit a comment by December 16, 2016, can be viewed
