Proposed Regulation - Board of Mortuary Science

NEWARK – The State Board of Mortuary Science is proposing to re-adopt, with new rules and amendments, its rules concerning the practice of mortuary science, licensing of practitioners of mortuary science, and registration of mortuaries.

The Board is proposing amendments to update rules and codify current standards of practice and licensure requirements.  The Board also proposes to repeal and add new rules to implement P.L. 2013, c.182, which modifies the reinstatement and reactivation requirements for professional or occupational licensees.

The proposed re-adoption of the regulations, and information on how to submit a comment by December 14, 2018, can be viewed here.

Follow the Division of Consumer Affairs on its website.
