New Jersey Bureau of Securities Invites Public to Free "Safe Investing" Summit on November 13th; Attendees Will Hear From "Crazy Eddie" and HealthSouth Fraudsters, "Wolf of Wall Street" and Madoff Prosecutors and FBI Agents, and More
PISCATAWAY - The New Jersey Bureau of Securities invites members of the public to attend a free "Safe Investing" Summit that will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Thursday, November 13th at Rutgers University's Busch Student Center in Piscataway. Attendees will learn valuable information about securities fraud and how to protect their own and their families' financial future.
The Summit's speakers will include convicted fraudsters from the "Crazy Eddie" and HealthSouth scandals, as well as prosecutors and FBI agents involved in the "Wolf of Wall Street," Madoff and First Jersey Securities frauds.
Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman, as well as representatives of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the AARP, and other organizations also will provide important information on the latest scams and on what investors should expect when dealing with financial professionals.
"The Safe Investing Summit promises to be an extremely interesting, constructive, and informative event that will give attendees practical knowledge on how to avoid being scammed when planning for their financial future," Acting Attorney General Hoffman said. "We invite all members of the public to attend this free event."
