Proposed Regulation – Board of Psychological Examiners

Newark – The Board of Psychological Examiners has proposed amendments to regulations governing record keeping requirements.   

Existing regulations require licensed psychologists to retain client records for at least seven years from the date of the last entry. The proposed amendments would require licensed psychologists to retain records for minors for seven years from the date of the last entry, or until the client turns 25 years, whichever is longer.
