Proposed Regulation – Division of Consumer Affairs
NEWARK – The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs has proposed new rules governing the conduct of fantasy sports activities in New Jersey. P.L. 2017, c. 231 tasks the Division with regulating fantasy sports activities in New Jersey. Under this law, fantasy sports operators must obtain a permit from the Division in order to offer fantasy sports activities in New Jersey. The proposed new rules establish application procedures for obtaining a permit and regulate the conduct of fantasy sports operators.
