Important Notice: Carrier and Pharmacy Services Administrative Organization (PSAO) Reporting – Deadline Extension

The Drug Affordability Unit within the Division of Consumer Affairs has extended the reporting deadline for carriers and pharmacy services administrative organizations (PSAOs) in accordance with P.L. 2023, c.106. The new submission deadline is March 15, 2025.

Please note that all reports must include data covering the full reporting period, which is the 2024 calendar year.

To comply, use the templates available under the Data Collection Manual tab on the Drug Affordability Unit’s website and complete the designated Carrier and PSAO Reporting hyperlink.

All completed templates should be submitted to DAU@dca.njoag.gov. If your submission contains sensitive or proprietary information, please use encrypted email when contacting the Drug Affordability Unit.

The Drug Affordability Unit implements P.L. 2023, c. 106, pursuant to which manufacturers, carriers, pharmacy benefits managers, wholesalers, and pharmacy services administrative organizations register with and report information to the Division to enhance prescription drug price transparency. The Division will prepare an annual report “to make clear the major components of prescription drug pricing along the supply chain, and the impacts on insurance premiums and consumer cost sharing.” The Drug Affordability Council created by P.L. 2023, c. 106 will use these annual reports to formulate legislative and regulatory policy recommendations.
