(“Palmco”) Settlement Information page.
On May 23, 2016, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, and the Division
(“State”) settled the action against Palmco, a third party energy supplier of natural gas and electricity in New Jersey. The State alleged that Palmco violated certain statutes and regulations in connection with its advertisement and sale of gas and electric service in New Jersey. The settlement provides for changes to Palmco’s business practices, restitution for customers, civil penalties and reimbursement of the State’s attorneys’ fees and investigative costs. The settlement also provides that Rust Consulting, Inc. be retained as the Settlement Administrator to administer the disbursement of restitution to Palmco customers.
